Terms of Participation — Open Calls

1. Who we are Nova Art Gallery ("Novart", "we") is a gallery of posters and art for the walls people live with, run by art group Formula and operated by a company registered in Georgia. Contact: t.me/novart_me_bot.

2. Who can apply Artists aged 18 or older submitting their own work. Any country, any technique, single works or series.

3. Fee and review Participation is paid through the payment link in the application form; use the same email for the payment and the form. Applications without a matching payment are not reviewed. Fees depend on the format (digital or print) and the number of works and are shown in the form and on the payment page. The fee covers the review of your application and the preparation of the exhibition. Every paid application is reviewed and every applicant receives our decision by email. Selection is at the discretion of the curatorial team and is final.

4. What participation includes Digital: your work shown on screen at the exhibition event, a page in the catalogue on novart.me, a digital certificate of participation. Print (digital included): we print your work, hang it at the exhibition and photograph it in the space. You do not send anything physically. Event details are announced to participants as they are confirmed.

5. No refunds The participation fee is non-refundable, whether or not your work is selected, and also if you withdraw or your work is removed under section 8. If an exhibition event is cancelled by us and not replaced within six months, we refund the fee in full.

6. Your rights and our licence Copyright stays with you. You grant Novart a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and reproduce your work, name and the information you provided for exhibitions, the catalogue, the website, social media and press, with credit. The licence continues after the exhibition so that catalogue pages stay online; you can ask us to remove your page at any time. Photos and video from events showing your work and, if you attend, you may be used for documentation and promotion if you allowed it in the form.

7. Sales Exhibition prints are produced by and remain with the gallery; they may be shown at future events and offered for sale. Your share of a sale is [50]% of the net price (after payment and platform fees), paid within six months of the sale to the account you name. Online sales of your work happen only if you allowed them in the form, under separate terms we send you before the first sale. You may withdraw either permission for future sales at any time by message. Taking part does not oblige you to sell anything.

8. Your responsibilities You confirm the work is yours, infringes no third-party rights and contains nothing unlawful. We may decline or remove a work that breaks these terms or the law, at any stage and without refund. If selected for print, you send a print-ready file to the spec we provide.

9. Changes and law We may change the date, venue or format of an event for reasons outside our control and will tell participants as soon as we know (section 5 applies if an event is cancelled). These terms are governed by the law of Georgia. Questions, complaints and removal requests: send here.
